I have more than 20 years of tutoring experience, 10 years as a trained teacher in the mainstream and special education. I specialise in teaching underachievers to prepare them for PSLE mathematics. My past students include students from ACS, Nanyang Pri, Gongshang Pri, Fengshan Pri, St Stephen's Sch, Raffles Girls', Pasir Ris Pri, White Sands Pri, St Hilda's, Kuo Chuan Presbytarian, St Anthony's Canossian, Tao Nan School.
I have worked with children in GEP programme, children with special needs (Autism, Dyslexia, Global developmental delay, Intellectual Disability, Cerebral Palsy)
My approach to teaching is to restate the problems to real life situations that the child can understand and relate to. I am patient and take note of students' interests and aspirations to motivate them to want to do better. |
